Find Out More About Leeds United

Leeds United Football Club, based in the heart of West Yorkshire, is one of England’s most passionately supported clubs, known for its fierce fanbase, storied past, and unrelenting spirit. Founded in 1919 after the disbandment of Leeds City, the club quickly established itself as a powerhouse in English football. The golden era of Leeds came during the 1960s and 70s under the legendary manager Don Revie, during which the club won two league titles, the FA Cup, League Cup, and enjoyed success in European competitions, reaching the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup and the European Cup (now Champions League). Elland Road, the club’s iconic stadium, remains a fortress for the Whites and is known for its electric atmosphere. After a dramatic decline and 16-year absence from the Premier League, Leeds returned to the top flight in 2020 under Marcelo Bielsa, captivating audiences with their fearless, high-energy attacking football. Despite facing challenges in subsequent seasons, the club remains a symbol of working-class resilience and northern pride. Leeds has produced legendary players such as Billy Bremner, Jack Charlton, Norman Hunter, and more recently, Kalvin Phillips. With ambitions to re-establish themselves as a permanent Premier League fixture and a modern footballing institution, Leeds United continues to embody the mantra: “Marching On Together.”
